I have just finished reading “If you were here” written by Alice Peterson, and I am currently reading “Watching their dance” written by Therese Crutcher-Marin.

I got my copy of “Watching their dance” while at the HDSA convention in Boston this summer, and i also got to meet the amazing Therese! (Definitely a highlight). I didn’t get to bring the book back the Northern Ireland with me, my aunt started to read it while i was staying at hers after the convention and asked could she keep it. She was coming home to Northern Ireland a month later so she promised to bring it home. According to my aunt, this book has changed her outlook on life! She always knew HD was in my dads family, and obviously has seen dad deteriorate over the years. Something definitely changed in my aunt after reading this book, she started looking up more info on HD. My aunt was always encouraging me to live my life to the fullest always telling me to change my dreams! after reading this book, it made her believe this even more, and be thankful for the health she has. This book gave her a new insight to HD, I can’t wait to read it!
